I have nothing witty to add today.
My favourite part of any story : the moment the characters start thinking.
That's why I like Noah's arc. Part of why.
So is Veda his Professor X or his Magneto...
Yeah Tobi rarely does stop to think before doing something and Burk....well is Burk
Oh hey, Noah is thinking and stuff. Good times!
to be fair, Tobi takes the time to think about *how* to do a thing. Burk encroaches on that Zen-like state of pure reflex reaction where the thought is simultaneous with the ass-kicking.
Presumably, it is *now* by Veda's Virtue that he doesn't die... But it was her fault (or Null's, or one of her other allies) that he realized he has powers in the first place.
So, the whole magic school thing basically has extraterritoriality?
Hey, Noah's finally acting like original Noah. Cool! Soon he'll be catching up with the 'almost-detective' he was before.
Perhaps Vader means to ursurp the powers of the Empire's president?
@Leo: That seems to be the case, yes. Do you remember how Noah was getting ill and how the royal guards were looking for sick kids? Vader did something.
I like that Noah started to think like a detective, but I miss his watson, Hevel. Sadly, he can't be in this reality (because they are not long-time friends).
