Woah, for one time people actually respect his diplomatic immunity!
Dunno what Goldman's ideal endgame was gonna be anyway. He's almost lucky that he was wrong about Burk-'n-friends working for the Heroland Top, as that'd seem liable to have backfired on him pretty hard.
Seems like Goldman'd be lucky if he gets away with just a bit of public humiliation.
Diplomatic weapon #??? diplomatic immunity
Livarian Diplomats have the powers of being impossible to fake, diplomatic immunity, a versatile selection of diplomatic weaponry, being backed by Livaria, and more.
They are a truly terrible foe, and this one is friends with Burk and an associate of Guy along with The Iron Judge.
Wurm really messed up with antagonizing Pablo.
correction: livarian diplomats are diplomats for livarall.
Now the question, is WHY are Livarian Diplomats so high up on that list.
Likely for a start, Livarall is the most technologically advanced country in Heroland. That alone should give them a fair bit of weight.
I suspect there's a secondary factor to Liverall diplomats getting such an 'at arms length' respect in addition to just being a nation of semi-high-tech tinkerers.
Maybe the country has some superweapon, or leverage over other leaders that make their ambassadors untouchable beyond normal diplomatic reasons.
Diplomatic weapon 0; being a motherfragging diplomat!
1:0 for Pablo for using the diplomatic relations of his country effectivly :D
Y'all think this is all because Pablo is a Livarian Diplomat, but it's actually all because the Livarian Diplomat is Pablo.
Liverall is likely a rich country considering their diplomats tend to have a LOT of clock work and training to use it AND a lot of spending money. Rich country means everyone wants to kiss their arse to avoid hurt trade relations or trade pressure. Long story short, I THINK that Liverall is a country that if you anger them, you'll soon find your trade routes becoming a lot less profitable if they don't out and out collapse.
