Not an ordinary cat.

Could've fooled me.

Good Grief, Noah Brown!

Hmmm, does this count as Noah taking initiative for once?
He wasn't willing to go after the spirit to begin with (of course), but once he realized he could do it without risking his physical person, he did. On top of this, there's no one forcing him to pursue *now*, he's doing it purely because of his instincts. (And thank god he has those.)

So, what do we think this is?
Alien? (kidding.)
Malhart Painting?
A cat that has magic powers like humans can?
Transformed person?
other?

....wait, is this thing even visible in reality? or do you need spirit to even see it? (like the painting.) because it looks bizarre.
it's gonna be suspicious to ordinary people even if they have no clue what it really is.

Be careful Noah, that cat might have powerful air-magic!

23032: noname - Tuesday, August 4 2020 - 7:05 AM

Why does Ciel ask "do you wish to pursue"? It's clear enough by now that Noah doesn't "wish" to do that. It's also clear that what Noah "wishes" does not actually factor into the situation, because if he does what he wishes to do, he may be subjected to another sensory overload.

At least it's not a white rabbit... or Kyuubey.

Ah, this must be Han Wunchester's power, having a seperate magic entity. There's no other explanation for this unless malhart can paint living creatures.

IS this "Noah gets annoyed with Ciel" thing going to be a trend? I'm not sure I like it.

What could ever be a hint to the cat not being an ordinary cat? :D
I guess it was the shinyness of the fur. No fur could ever be so shiney!

Is the cat raising BOTH its front paws in the second to last panel? Odd...

@the masked I don't think Malhart painting living creatures is out of the question - We've already seen one such entity clearly created by Malhart. The door.

Being on the table is not the same thing as being the most likely answer, though - One could muse that this cat might be the same thing Noah is right now - A personification of someone's spirit, floating around and taking a look at things.

Of course, that begs the question - Why is the most extreme reaction from the "cat" to simply walk in a different direction than Noah? Maybe he's masking himself really well, and is invisible to it, or... It's probably something else. It'll probably become more clear as we see more of the cat.

But hey, at least we have the chapter title nailed down now.
