This seems to bode well for the Veda project kids, assuming they survive this mess. Since the ranking military commander considers them assets and has enough trust in Noah to neutralize the JSP in Noahs presence, and everyone else who was present when Veda unleashed Chernyl has good reasons to blame the JSP and their containment strategy, the Veda project is probably going to continue as the empires best option for containment and protection against magic users even if Veda is dead. Noahs performance alone could lead some kind of magic based intelligence and logistics program.
Still a terrible situation for magic users though.
