Why do I keep forgetting that Chernyl is a character meant to draw allegorical parallels to nuclear technology and that the disaster going on right now is basically a nuclear plant meltdown and that OF COURSE the bad guys would want to use her more like a nuclear weapon...? You'd think the "Red Mushroom Bombs" would've made that unforgettable enough... not to mention her name...

Man, this whole arc just screams for the intervention of an all-Cleric D&D party. Too bad for Noah that this ain't happening - at least in the comic. Who knows what you'll do in your own D&D campaigns.

Thank you noname for spelling it out.
I'm the kind of Moron who didn't realize the nuclear implications of the Chernyl name.
Also, Neorice you are cool =)

It's clear that Grey Child has other plans, though; plans that involve Noah pulling a third option out of the metaphorical behind and making the terror of Chernyl's ability "disappear" off the face of the earth without killing her.

Not that this power will actually be gone, however. No, it will be in the hands of someone with a metaphorical jailer installed to keep it under wraps until it's needed...

Leave it to the empire to weaponize a child with nightmares.

@noname - Good analysis.

I wonder if Noah's wish power can take Chernyl's powers away? Because that really seems like a good option right now.
