Ever so tempting.

Looks like a party is brewing ...

After the ensuing battle, Burk will have to mourn his heroically lost pants.

10042: JailedCinder - Friday, August 12 2016 - 2:21 AM

Huh. . . So that what she can do. . . I'm a bit scared to even wonder what else she can do.

10043: CatHairPillAir - Friday, August 12 2016 - 2:29 AM

I think she will have to wait until the baron decides not to be a statue any longer...

10044: Drazile - Friday, August 12 2016 - 4:40 AM

That's quite the moustache!

10045: Rot - Friday, August 12 2016 - 4:43 AM

Speaking of the Mage Baron, it looks like we're about to see what sort of hijinks Pablo and the thief are getting into.

10046: Tom - Friday, August 12 2016 - 4:47 AM

So her power is animating blades or summoning them? Either way, cool effect.

10048: Squidy - Friday, August 12 2016 - 6:44 AM

Yay party! =D

I can imagine Burk and her fighting being reminiscent of the baddie that shot chains out of its arms back in the first chapter. Alas, Burk will do no beating people up here.

I'm with Bisected on this one. [Swords intensify]

And we're finally near where the old comic ended!
And wow, that detail about Ariara's magic arm is new. neat~

10051: Soup - Friday, August 12 2016 - 9:03 AM

Hey Neorice, was this always the intention behind her power? Or in the original run of the comic did the mage hand do something else entirely?

10052: Ghost - Friday, August 12 2016 - 9:30 AM

Neither the General or Moe look like they plan on betraying the other at the first chance they get!

10053: Goblin Scribe - Friday, August 12 2016 - 11:09 AM

Oh, shit, we're catching up. That last panel is awesome—I love the lightning effect.

@Ghost

I dunno, the general doesn't really strike me as shrewd enough to backstab.

10055: Reginald - Friday, August 12 2016 - 2:13 PM

The general seems to be making an extremely sound tactical decision, despite it not being readily apparent. From his information, the escaped prisoners have either one or two powerful makes with a grudge against the Baron's forces, while he has a single mage who may not even aid him. In securing Moe's aid as a powerful wildcard, he is both leveling the odds against the prisoners and weakening Moe in the ensuing conflict. If Ariara wins, Moe will probably have dealt with several enemies already, and if Moe wins, he will be easier to recapture. Both situations go in the General's favor.
