Assassination.

Burk's gonna burk.

10901: Penguin - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 1:15 AM

I feel like this is nicely emblematic of Burk's part in the biggest difference in the three stories.
Tobi constantly has problems thrust at her and her life is a desperate struggle to reduce the number of problems she has.
Noah sort of has problems that he sort of deals with in a manner that sometimes turns them into somewhat different problems.
Burk would have a life of sunshine and roses if it wasn't for the fact that he will go far, FAR out of his way to create the most spectacular problems possible.

The name of that attack really reminded me of One Piece, same type of naming of attacks.

@ Neoriceisgood

I wouldn't expect any less from Burk.

I mean Judge is obviously Evil!

Kick his ass, Burk.

10905: Rot - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 8:11 AM

Thank you based Neo.

10906: Jack Morgan - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 8:16 AM

@-D-

Nah, he's just a grumpy old man, I think. Not evil.

Also, this may be the most intense fight Burk has had so far. I would assume that the Judge is far more powerful than Alexander Logan, so this'll be a fun time.

10907: verycoolname - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 8:52 AM

@Jack Morgan

they have different power sets and jobs so it isn't fair to compare them unless they actually fight each other.

Plus Logan was definitely going for non lethal takedowns against Burk(as far as smashing a dude with a massive metal club can be nonlethal). Whereas the Judge no longer seems to care about Burk's wellbeing.

One thing I'm confused about now in regards the Judge:

I always thought the thing on his left shoulder was like a bird, like Captain Jack Sparrow style etc. However I never actually saw it do bird things. In these latest panels, it looks like it might be a torch. Although mechanically I'm not sure how that makes sense, sounds pretty dangerous :p. It's a torch connected to the Judge's magic, did I get it right?

10909: Neoriceisgood - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 8:59 AM

IceIceIce:

It's a golden bird, part of his armor.

You know, I'm pretty sure this is the first time we have a full, clear view of the Mage Baron (not counting the golden statue)

10912: Kiithnaras - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 12:26 PM

@Neo
Still convinced said bird is a duck, whether made of gold or rubber.

What, it's a comforting childhood momento for the Iron Judge in my headcanon.

10913: kaku - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 12:44 PM

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY not the person burk want´s to beat? the jugde is stronge and burk is burk on the burk-o-meter. burk likes to fight stonge enemy (i think).

10914: UnknownID - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 1:15 PM

This explanation is hilarious! :D

10915: random - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 2:25 PM

It came to me almost as a shock, that Burk, as a matter of fact, is not a well informed diplomat. Oh well. However, I do believe that sometimes beating up people that are too full of themselves might be a good move in long terms of diplomacy.

10916: verycoolname - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 5:28 PM

Does The Judge have free magic?

10917: Pokemonster2 - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 8:32 PM

Burk's serious about this, you can see his eye.

10918: Saiko - Tuesday, October 25 2016 - 11:50 PM

Go get that pyromaniac, Burk!
