A fair comment from Guy. :)
It's still a better plan than that of the Aristocrat.
Those balls though, what are they? Could they be what his little amulet dealy was pointing towards?
Are they the reason why Burk was so concerned about his bag?
Guy speaks for us all.
Those metal balls though...
@ Aristocrat: Be happy that Guy tried not to laugh.
@ Guy: Good work trying not to laugh. You got through half an entire sentence.
@ Metal Balls: Actually, that's probably not Burk's. Well, the on that looks like it's made out of Gold might be Burk's, but the other's... would have been used against him in the fight with Ariana if she could have done so. So I'm assuming that she put them in there so that she could hold him in the air.
I think he's using the balls as weight to make him heavier so that he has more momentum and doesn't fly as far when hit.
These remind me of Phantasm spheres, only without the activating component, so are still dormant.
and the realization just hit Aristocrat
I love how Guy's first instinct is to react deadpan, but even he couldn't pull it off... Can't blame him.
Could those be the same spheres missing from the temple door Tobi exited?
Burk confirmed for having balls. Possibly of brass or steel.
Ariara had to put part of her hand in the bag before she could immobilise Burk iirc. That suggests to me that those balls are, in fact, the most valuable things in the castle... because they're samples of various metals that all have something in common: Magic can't affect them.
Gold is immune to magic, but gold is rare, gold is expensive and most importantly of all, gold is soft. A metal, or an alloy, that shared gold's magic bane properties, but was comparable to iron or bronze in other respects? That would be a game changer.
Burk's True Hero Potential will be unlocked when he wears camo pants
