Hard to keep someone down who can use magic to effortly get herself back up to her feet!
Emphasis on "fair."
Unless it's unavoidable it won't work on Burk. Although I'm thinking there may have been something to those blades and he's got something worse than light scratches.
Okay, I'm starting to like this evil pirate lady. I want her to come back at some point.
How much metal was used in this building's construction? I don't recall seeing an exterior shot of the lighthouse...
@Squid: Well it's not like Burk fights fair. All that backstabbing for example. Or back hitting I suppose.
Ugh, I called it too soon.
As much fun as it is to watch them clash, I'm all for the duel reaching a conclusion.
wooo! way to go Burk!
Que "Thats why I don't fight fair." line.
+Extra Brownie points if it becomes a running gag of Ariara to consistently fall on her face.
she can barely stand
will she go all mecha on burk?
@ Whispers of Sorrow: He only attacks from behind it when his opponents are aware of his presence and forget that fighting him should be the most important thing in their mind at the moment. He's kind of like OTHAR TRYGGVASSAN, Gentleman Adventurer who calls out his name every time he enters a room that way.
Why am I not surprised? Why is she not unconscious? Did she recharge herself, or something?
Any fight you can walk away from, as they say. Get out now, Ariara, and you might be able to wrangle an appearance in one of the OTHER stories.
So, when does Moe the Shifter burst in? How many girders are still in his way?
plot twist, Ariara is a terminator.
Mutton-man was just a newer model :P
I guess she wouldn't win an unfair fight neither... (think)
I am loving her evil grin on panel 6 >:D
One last trick?
@Darius Drake: He doesn't start looking good merely because he ran away, then sneakily came back. But does it matter in the context of fighting fair? A backstab is a backstab.
@Z2: I've been vaguely hoping that she ends up as a teacher at Noah's school for a while now.
