End score.

Oh Noah, you deeply, deeply motivated child.

I just love Noah's lazy method, but there wouldn't be much of a lateral current in a river. If there was any current he'd just be washed down stream. I can't help but feel a calm river was chosen for safety.

Kinda confusing about whats going on here though. Is Hevel using spirit to run on water?

Do like Noahs degree of motivation though :P

@Tor

Hevel's basically using spirit shield on his feet, the technique he's best at. Same as what Gazz is doing; except Hevel's doing a better job.

I may not be religious, but I am impressed by finally having accurate pictures of Noah's Ark on the water ...

Natalie worries me more every day.
But I'm starting to think she is doing that on purpose. To stay in training and not get sent to combat.

What was that technique Felix used a while back? Where he pulled the Magiball towards him at high speed? Surge? Could that not be used to push away the water?

15049: Neoriceisgood - Wednesday, November 29 2017 - 2:30 AM

@Daran

Surge specifically pulls spirit towards the person using it.

If something contains no traces of spirit, a.k.a magic at all; surge won't work on it at all.

I'm glad that Felix loving grass Gazz came unstuck. Serves him right.

Cheery and Alita could probably have made it if they'd used the rocks as stepping stones.

I just wish Noah could use his power to wish away Vader's interference, so that Felix could be thoroughly and properly holed.

@Daran: Yeah, this page really did make me suspect her of faking her inability in the hopes of not having to fight. Noah had the same idea.

15052: Whispers of Sorrow - Wednesday, November 29 2017 - 3:40 AM

Ah! Cherry! I meant Cherry! Not Cheery! Oh the shame of it! :(

Wait, if Noah can float on the water, couldn't he have just ambled across?

Perhaps Felix could be made to wade out and recover all those items he dumped into the river?

15053: Saiko - Wednesday, November 29 2017 - 3:43 AM

So Noah is using the floating method after all:) I still think he should have asked the airhead girl or anyone who already passed the test to be his raft, and then use spirit to repel from the bank (probably someone standing on it). Alternatively, construct impromptu propeller or hydro-jet from some object (even the two magiballs could be used for this in a pinch).

If Noah and Airhead weight 50 kg each, he needs no more than force in order of 100 newtons (probably less) to be ferried with comfortable speed. The kids already showed they can do better (by knocking down other kids).

...actually, if Noah's floating method would have worked, doesn't that mean that he could sustain his protective barrier while in the water for extended periods of time? Isn't that actually quite impressive?

i just relized that the icon for noah in the side bar beside the comic is a re-couler of red mind's icon thingy

15057: Nitro - Wednesday, November 29 2017 - 2:00 PM

Wait, why is Gazz bloodied ?

15058: Kymi - Wednesday, November 29 2017 - 4:33 PM

I think Natalie is an elf. Don't all elves use pandemonium powers?

15059: Whispers of Sorrow - Wednesday, November 29 2017 - 10:45 PM

@Nitro: I suspect his power usage overwhelmed him and caused bleeding. That or someone beat him up.
