Update rate.
So for fun I decided to go back to a portion of my old comic ptGG that correlates closely to the part of the buffer I'm making right now.
In 2010 I had the following update pattern at some point:
sep 1
sep 5
sep 9
sep 16
sep 22
sep 22
sep 24
oc 14
oc 20
oc 25
nov 1
nov 9
nov 16
nov 21
nov 28
so in sep: 7 updates, october: 3 updates, november: 5 updates.
The current Tobi arc in April (a relatively slow month as I didn't do any drastic update boosts):
ap 1
ap 3
ap 6
ap 8
ap 10
ap 13
ap 15
ap 17
ap 20
ap 22
ap 24
ap 27
ap 29
That's 13 pages in a "slow" month. An added point of interest is that my old webcomic literally had no buffer at all. (I tried to create one later on but it barely held up over summer & ran out)
In contrast, Hero Oh Hero currently has a buffer standing 200 pages strong. (at a 3-update a week rate that's well over a year..)
Nothing particularly important, but I decided to kinda put these numbers together while referencing old comic pages for some information & seeing just how much the new style/methods I apply for the new comic help me in page creation.
There's really no contest speed-wise.
@All
Also apologies if the journal title made you think there'd be a constant increase in updates or something .. lol.
Huh, that is pretty interesting.
Nice comparison ^__^ Thanks for all your work
That's a big buffer. O_o
Good going Neo-man :D
Interesting~
That's a neat comparison. You've come a long way! :D
