Damn it, indeed! My bet is he would lie until hunger becomes hardly bearable.
Gazz is at the 'never enough training, never enough preparation' phase, a new, harder, more demanding challenge will always knock your door.

Noah will have to get an idea, and this is one of the rare moments where he gets a motivation to do so (like, direct order).

Noah could always try using his power... if only someone would grab him and threaten him or something.
Does yelling at him count as helping him to his feet? I don't think it does. So I will consider myself to have lost my bet.

Noah could cause a lot of problems for the enemies by just repeatedly trying to leave. Perhaps that is how he can be useful?

I don't know he seems under the impression that this group is trying to rescue him. If he gets caught there is a 50/50 chance that he just starts filling out his change of address form instead of using his power.
I don't want to be a nit-picky quibbler over a bet, but...
Noah still has his seat on the ground. One can "get up" from sitting, so... I don't think that it counts?
I'm actually very excited to see that Noah is somehow actually motivated to go do something cool. Heck yeah!
How are they going to get out of it.. if they even do

If they stuck him in a nice appartment, fed him regularly and told him they had filled the change of adress form for him, then i suspect its close to a 9/1 chance of him newer wandering further than 500 meters from his bed.
It's possible he could just mana cloak his way out of there without anybody noticing. If there was a manhole, and he had a large cloth, he could pull a D4C-style disappearing act by diving onto someone when they were in position, escaping into their mind during the under-cloth scuffle but making everyone think he escaped into the sewers, thus forcing at least one of the attackers to break off into a wild goose chase.
I Think Noa is going to use some of the items from the bag they got. Like that, he could help without using his power. Robe maybe?
But then again it�€™s Noa we are talking about xD
