Something tells me that Guy didn't "manage to escape" from Illuani... More like, I suspect Illuani may be a person in the past tense at the moment... Still, Guy sees no reason to correct Pablo's misconception, and that's fine enough.
And the Heroland executives assuming that Guy is Evyle may become their eventual undoing...

The more I see of this, the more I'm sure this whole arc will end with the Executives thinking everything is going perfectly to plan until right at the last moment when it all falls to pieces in front of his face.

I don't know if that's what you're referencing, but I swear to every god that Burk with his bandana on looks like Sol Badguy. Especially in chapter 1 with the old artstyle.
