What's worse than dying in a death game? Getting stuck forever and dying of starvation :D

I really am tried of Foxy's hypocrisy and backstabbing. Worst (as in, most loathsome) player in the game by a light year.
'Tis a great pity that Three din't bundle Binky out of the game while Foxy's back was turned.

@whispersofsorrow
I think by forcing Levin back into the maze with a vested interest in other players’ survival Foxy may have saved some lives, at the potential cost of Levin. Not a hard sacrifice to make.

When someone loathes a character more for being "hypocritical and backstabbing" (the latter I can see, the former not so much) than for everything that is wrong about Levin, a man who has tried to make "fuck around with everyone in the worst possible ways and never find out" into the modus operandi of his entire life philosophy, you know they've got their priorities in a certain order... Not necessarily a good order, but definitely a certain order...
Levin is getting what he deserves. I hope he grovels and begs for mercy before he dies, but I'm almost certain that he is, for some cruel reason, going to make it out of this alive.

Go Foxy! Absolutely my favorite character still alive in this Death Game arc.
Levin's been a selfish jackass since the beginning, and treacherous as well. Given the first chance he had to kill Tobi and Foxy that seemed consequence-free, he took it without any indication of remorse or hesitation. Dude deserved some comeuppance of some sort, and Foxy was easily one of the best equipped to pull it off.
Now big question in this scene is if Foxy and Bindy survive...
47368: Whispers of Sorrow - Thursday, June 12 2025 - 3:40 AM
@Potato: By my count, the only other players left alive are Tobi (who has plot shields and a ghoul protecting her), Mr Green (who has to leave last and as such alone as memory serves) and the utterly insane Shalhia who is likely past saving (Woe to the world if she escapes this place. Still not as bad as Foxy escaping though.).
Also, you could use the same excuse to abandon Foxy, it uh, really wouldn't be much of a sacrifice. And would be vengeance for Tobi from Three's point of view if he were of a mind. There are a number of players, alive or undead, with very good reason to take violent revenge on Foxy, for her very evil deeds. And the end of the game may not stop them.

Also, didn't Levin recover some medicine in one of the chests that is probably Foxy's? Bad luck for her and all that.

I think she screwed herself. I don't think 3 is leaving without Tobi, and the lift might need 3 people.

Foxy has been a decent human being after her initial betrayal of Tobi and it’s *wild* to me to see someone think her fucking over Levin is a mark on her character.
God forbid women actually force men to have their actions have consequences.
47373: Brite - Thursday, June 12 2025 - 9:00 AM
Interesting argument going on. Personally, I don't think Foxy is the most loathsome person here, OR a likeable character.

I must have missed some pages, why are people commenting that Foxy is as bad as Levin? She did one bad thing, apologized for it, and then hasn’t been an evil bastard. Unlike Levin who has been just an absolute piece of shit this entire time.
47377: someone - Thursday, June 12 2025 - 10:48 AM
Levin has repeatedly tried to kill other people just to have them killed.
Foxy tried to get rid of Tobi once, at a point where she thought that was her only chance of survival.
Not comparable.

I don't see what sexism has to do with this.
We've spent more time with Foxy to humanize her, which should incline most readers to give her the benefit of the doubt, and Levin has designated villain written all over him, but if you look at how they treat others choosing between Foxy vs. Levin is picking between two evils.
Most of us would probably pick Foxy as the lesser evil, but had we spent more time with Levin and less with Foxy, I'm not sure that would have been the case. :-D
They are both perfectly fine with cooperating with others when it suits their goals and showed themselves excellent team mates during the team exercises, but they are also both fine with threatening others, betraying others, harming others, and attempting to murder others who've done nothing to justify it save being in the way of their own success, when they think it benefits them more and they can get away with it.
Somebody preferring Levin's brand of evil, "everything to win the game" over Foxy's, "whatever it takes for my survival & revenge" is a question of taste.
Where Whisper's of Sorrow gets it wrong is denouncing Foxy for hypocrisy; She's not advocating doing one thing while doing another.
Foxy has been very open about harming others to get ahead, to reduce risk, to eliminate potential threats (get 'em first), and about how she won't let go of past slights but will get revenge.
She hasn't said a thing to suggest she's against people acting like that in general; She probably considers it normal behaviour.
That's she's only still in the game because Tobi doesn't share her views on revenge for attempted murder does not make Foxy a hypocrite. It makes her fortunate that her victim is a better person than she is - luck that Levin didn't share, when he betrayed Foxy.

I'm now expecting either the lift to drop everyone back down instead of getting them out just to really mess things up, or just plain explode.

> I really am tried of Foxy's hypocrisy and backstabbing. Worst (as in, most loathsome) player in the game by a light year.
I think the worst you can say about Foxy is that she's making "irrational" from the point of view of game theory decisions, emotionally driven by hate for Levin, probably compounded by the herd mentality when Levin was ostracized from the group (rightfully).
She may discover that she can't use the door now or something, and that she is also stuck in the maze as well, and gave Levin her coins for nothing. I don't think she carefully confirmed that her plan will work.
It's fair to say that, the most dangerous opponent is unpredictable -- her move shocked Bindy as well. I wonder if Three knew what was happening.
47382: Mox - Thursday, June 12 2025 - 10:03 PM
I don't know if I'd call that move irrational
She doesn't know for sure if there isn't another death trap after this elevator, and she knows Levin would have them die the second it benefits him
GOTTEM.
