I thougth Kid Candy was the revenant with the knife, not her husband....

That's a good question Pablo.
At first I though they were brought in by Heroland and the whole thing was staged. I mean, Kid Candy did say this was to show why 10% of Livarall's GDP goes to Heroland protection...
But when it turned out they did not have a chance and only barely survived because of Burk and "Captain Livaria" intervened, that shot this theory down.

Nah. That still might be staged, just a bit more heartlessly. Throw in some threat that's too tough for "regular" heroland heroes, so Livarall is forced to pay for "premium" protection instead.

@Maiker Well, if it's cynicism hour in here, I'd like to point out there's someone who came out of this looking very, very good. Heroland doesn't have a monopoly on corruption or dirty tricks, after all. So maybe Captain Liverall deserves some skepticism.
(But also, given that revenants can think, any plan that involves staging suddenly looks a lot more like a plan that involves staging a ghoul attack. I.E. a bad plan that will backfire on the executor immediately.)

She waited until things settled down to go to her husband. She must have been in shock!
Do the containment rings have any special powers?

Okay, I'm lost. Is "Revenant" the term these people use for Ghouls, or is this yet another monster?

@someone: I forgot

Different monsters! Ghouls have black eyes, elf-ears and always a single big visible horn.
These guys are more creepy Frankenstein/Cenobyte looking creatures.

"one of those" - well, Pablo, you see, the thing is, how can I tell you? Well, let's make it short: at least two of those, sorry.

The rings absolutely have special powers. Else why havent the Revenants continued running?
We did get answered why the Pro heroes though they had a chance though. Pablo explained Revenants are not normal in the area.

Knew it Burk's brain has gone the cap is a robot, much like how he thinks pablo is a mage.
Bets on a sogeking situation with the captain turning out to be a woman who fills the girl role that guy is currently standing in for when not in costume but is thought of as the robot when in costume.
