I wonder how long until Noah's thrown into Zone 4 for his... complete lack of enthusiasm for any form of physical activity, and manages to actually survive purely due to his capabilities with Spirit.
...possibly ending his part of the exercise by throwing himself over the wall of Zone 4, back into the safe area the school building is in.

While the Royal Guard are certainly capable fighters, mentally they all seem..... off. I cannot help but think the training was a part of that. I doubt they'll train any of the people in the project to that level of ability, since you know having someone with magic and combat skills equal to your elite non-magic using guard doesn't bode well for if someone decides like oooooh I don't know the JSP or Prime Minister for an example, that the Emp is no longer needed. But yeah I still expect it to be a level that leads to mental dysfunction in them, which is really going to be bad.
Side note makeup of the group makes me wonder if its a mix of really capable students and incapable students on certain subjects to try and get them to learn off each other.

I still find it really funny how Justopea reaches, by deliberately being jerks, the same place every other magic school reaches through sheer trope power.
Justopea: This is the murder forest full of things that will murder you. We made it because we figure throwing you into live combat and sweeping up the remains is the easiest way to train abilities we know jack all about.
Hogwarts: This is the murder forest full of things that will murder you. *Whimsical!*

One of Noah's classmates implied she could control animals, right? This should be fun.

Ooooh, this is my kind of story arc!
I wonder if it will go to hell due to wacky hijinks.

@ Ghost: The Royal Guard were specifically trained from birth to be able to fight magic users, and there are only 8 of them. Even if it was possible, the "Magic Soldiers" are NOT going to be getting that level of training, even if it was possible.
The main reason being that Justopea does not trust magic users. But, magic users exist, and are powerful. So turning them into enslaved soldiers, especially when they haven't used their magic without permission, is an acceptable middle ground for the government.

Oh, I was wrong about the number of Royal Guards (stated because I realised my error five minutes after attempting to post my last comment). I made that mistake because of the title of page 1976, which is "8 Royal Guards", and thought for a moment that there were only 8 of them. In reality, there were 8 in Haven, ambushing Malhart.

I actually think, its genuine she dont want any of them to die. This feels like something they would expose Royal Guard trainies to as well.
Just. The JSP -is- involved in this mess as well. So obviously, the earlier she scares them with how serious this is. The more likely it is they will take it serious. And survive.
