No, dear Gaston, you are not the "weak" soldiers/students, you are "basic", "standard", the "unremarkable", even possibly the most "expendable" considering how we've been told how valuable (as in costly) for the empire.

Strength is not what's being measured here; Noah, as the most outrageous example but maybe others too are certainly weaker than you on a 1vs1 (Cillia?) but they fit better in other more "colourful" role than "peon".

It wouldn't surprise me if one of the other houses is essentially the same as the Peons™ only with higher social status (and presumably, better training (more one on one teaching, that sort of thing)).

It's a shame that Hevel is saddened by the bluntness, but that is, as they say, life. And he didn't do much of note, so, alas! Good that Felix is happy regardless, that's a positive attitude.
