Wanted for crimes so heinous they can't even be made public.
She must be the worst person imaginable.
Cutest information disclosure denial in the whole Internet right there
How humble of him.
let me guess, she didn't want to play conspiracy?
Will she answer to Burk?
Are we all just discounting the idea she actually did something bad?
OK between what we know of Heroland, Nightshade, the hidden reason and Neo's comment I'm having a hard time taking that seriously as well.
I'm just curious about that yellow deer hero thing. What the heck is it?
1: She did something actually bad. In that case, you advertise it if it's something that the general public would recognize as bad and wouldn't actually cost resources in making publicly aware. This makes people feel morally justified in chasing her down and lynching her.
2: She did literally nothing. Some guy in charge wanted to 'have a nice time' with her, she said no (Probably insultingly), guy in charge got pissy, and now there's a bounty on her head. Not an arc I could see Neorice going for, tbh.
3: She did a thing against the company. It might be something so simple as requesting greater pay for heroes, deincentivizing white stars by spreading out interest in who you deal with, etc etc, but the simplest idea I could think of would be trying to unionize the heroes to demand greater representation. In this scenario, you want to either send out -other- information, or out-and-out falsehoods to make it seem like your system works perfectly fine, and she's just an aberration.
Judging from how she said "None of you can access that information"... no, Burk can't access that information either.
4. She did something FOR the company, such as finding out one [or some] director[s] is/are looting the till. The guilty have found out she found out, and is/are trying to eliminate her before she can blab. [She may have insufficient proof to convince others now, but will have more soon.]Accusing her of an actual crime allows her the chance to prove her innocence, and/or might let the facts leak out, so she is accused of an "unspeakable crime".
5. She knows something confidential, like proprietary information, or a backdoor practice that would make Heroland look bad (or worse, expose Heroland to liability, if it's subject to that kind of law).
5. She happened across information that the company considers dangerous enough that they're willing to sacrifice her to keep it a secret, and consider her leaking it too great a risk even if she may be completely loyal.
She probably took an executive's lunch from the fridge and gobbled it.
6. (maybe 7?) The Heroland executives think she did something bad involving something they can't talk about, but she was actually framed by a third party. There really are a lot of factions once you add them all up.
Ah! Shoot! That's the problem if you choose the wrong friends. XD
So maybe Burk's really not allowed to hear it or the others are not allowed to hear that he's allow to hear this information :D
