If you suck, your coins suck. Tragic.
Kajit has no wares if you no have coin.
So it was like Conchord said. The coins are worthless if the player dies. Quite interesting...
So if the people who get money when other players die, say by in the voting area, suddenly they can buy out other players?
I love info dumps. And by that I mean not at all.
Info dumps are fine if the info getting dumped is stimulating. I can say with some certainty that this info is getting the gears turning in readers' heads. (It's certainly true for me.)
I'm assuming the drawers, and the cubby slots in the doors are getting explained after this?
And bar Tobi, 3, Smiley and the women who was with them they're all broke right now this is going to get intresting.
Well I can definitely say it's not the case for me. If I have one problem with this webcomic, is that the progress made in each page usually feels like not much.
@Jane This comic is like 70% info dump, so you might be in the wrong place.
I will say I do kinda miss the comedy and simplicity of the first Burk arc. The conceptual stuff is enjoyable, but could maybe be introduced to us in a way other than characters explaining things to other characters.
Burk and Noah's arcs have always been more alright, with action popping up quite often and info pages not lasting as long. It's Tobi's mainly that feels that way. Barely anything has happened in her arc so far imo.
Where could possibly gone all the money :)
See, I prefer the info dumps. For me it shows the author has put a lot of thought into their comic. Leaves less rooms for plot holes, which really irritate me.
Also, @Ghost, didn't Three transfer all the money to Tobi? Can't remember whether it was all, or just most of it.
Coin is valid if the player makes it to the finish...nothing about being alive or dead. Beastwoman can easily carry a few bodies.
I don't mind exposition/info dumps, as long as a) it makes sense within the context of the story for the characters to explain stuff, and b) if it doesn't violate the "show, don't tell" rule too much.
In this case, it makes perfect sense for the rules of the game to be explained, and while the host could just let them figure them out via trial and error it would go against the pretense of fairness.
Three and the 2 with him each got 1.5? mil, leaving every other player with 100k?
Three then transferred all of the money from anyone but 3 and his buds to Tobi, meaning she had 900k?
@recneps, ah ok, I remembered Three had changed the totals after the other two left, just not the specifics. Cheers!
