Suit yourself.

Nobody does..

21317: Potatopeelerkind - Friday, February 14 2020 - 1:51 AM

I, for one, am looking forward to the Eloy spinoff where we follow his many adventures tackling crime on the streets of the Empire.

That is a thing that's going to happen, right?

21318: raine - Friday, February 14 2020 - 2:25 AM

expression of intent to party, or ominous warning...?

21319: Some guy - Friday, February 14 2020 - 2:49 AM

Is it just me or does Eloy kinda look like Noah here?

Also, @Potatopeelerkind, you mean literally tackling, right?

21320: megahellreaper - Friday, February 14 2020 - 3:18 AM

Oh no, Eloy's definitely not gonna die today. Nope, no way. Why would you think that? You're being ridiculous.

21321: Bisected - Friday, February 14 2020 - 3:50 AM

Least of all, Eloy.

21322: TheMegax - Friday, February 14 2020 - 4:05 AM

Maybe he is extremely capable, comparable to a magic user, so much that the empire can't afford loosing him.
Nah, what am I talking about? He's Eloy

21323: Yobestboi - Friday, February 14 2020 - 4:47 AM

Were back with Noah! Oh yeaaaahhhh!~

21324: AnonymousPerson - Friday, February 14 2020 - 4:53 AM

He actually has magic. Booze makes him stronger.

21325: Yobestboi - Friday, February 14 2020 - 4:56 AM

@Potatopeelerkind
We're still waiting on the subversive patreon series with eloy and his harem of royal guards.

21326: noname - Friday, February 14 2020 - 4:57 AM

Gee, Eloy, couldn't you oversize that death flag a little bit more? I mean, it didn't even mention the photo you keep in your wallet of your family that you're going to be spending more time with after you retire tomorrow, nor did it (surprisingly enough) pick up a blip on Noah's radar, (I blame the fact that he's tired,) so clearly you're doing something wrong...

21327: SilentWrangler - Friday, February 14 2020 - 6:12 AM

And that is exactly why he's a member of an elite assasin unit. If not for uniform, nobody would recognise a royal guard in him. As a wise man once said "not even remotely looking like ninja is exactly how ninja should look like"

21328: Seb - Friday, February 14 2020 - 6:27 AM

Back to Noah !
Eventually he'll learn and maybe even take a sip of a drink surrounded by loud people. Maybe

21329: Violet - Friday, February 14 2020 - 8:35 AM

Does Tobi just not exist anymore? What the heck is going on here?

21330: Neoriceisgood - Friday, February 14 2020 - 9:42 AM

@Violet

Tobi returns again after this chapter, no worries.

21331: RandomGuy - Friday, February 14 2020 - 2:25 PM

Well, isnā€™t Noah a party killer.

21332: Guest - Friday, February 14 2020 - 4:50 PM

The Royal Guard appear to have grown up as a combination of child-soldiers and child-celebrities. I suspect that their displayed level of coherence is exceptional given the circumstances. I dread to think of the ones that either didn't have the mentality to make it through the program, or technically succeeded, but aren't let out where the public can actually see them.

21333: mem - Friday, February 14 2020 - 4:59 PM

Huzzah! Noah's back!

21334: Some guy - Saturday, February 15 2020 - 12:38 AM

@Seb
Learn what exactly? That he was justified in refusing?

Because that's about the only thing i could possibly see him learn from the experience given his disposition and general attitude. Parties won't be fun for him ever, and likely just make him uncomfortable.
It's just part of his basic psychological makeup.

21335: 339597 - Saturday, February 15 2020 - 11:34 AM

Pictures like this underscore a conspiracy theory that Eloy could be Noah's "real" father.

21336: Chris E. - Sunday, February 16 2020 - 3:27 AM

Come to think of it, have we actually seen anyone appearing to be a parent of Noah, "real" or otherwise?

21337: Jack - Sunday, February 16 2020 - 9:44 PM

@Chris E.
His father, page 477 with a mention of his mother also.

21344: tracer - Monday, February 17 2020 - 5:21 AM

If royal guards are trained from birth, there's no way to predict some undesired personality traits before they manifest. After that it's a choice between either discarding a sub-prime guard together with years of wasted training, or employing said guard for tasks where he is just good enough.

Either that, or his behaviour is yet another mask. To gain the students' trust.
