Smirking at someone's misery isn't very becoming for a Paladin, young lady.
@Neo, thanks for the reply and I understand what you're saying. I realise that the comic is more of a hobby than a job, and I think I can vouch for everyone when I say thanks for taking the time to make it.
Overall, I think 5 nailed why it's grated on me so much. I hadn't thought about the fact that I'm looking forward to the daily strip so much so, that when there isn't as much content I'm a little disappointed. I guess this is a testament to what you produce here, long may it continue.
Looking back, I may have came across a bit 'entitled' so, for that, I apologise. It was all coming from a place of love, honest! <3
Admittedly I'm not very familiar with how a foxhunt normally goes, but I think you're not supposed to use a net.
Holy shit they are strong, well, Im starting to get the respect for the beast people, holy damn they are powefull
Aw, damn it.
Sorry Beastgirl. Ripping someone limb from limb is not considered dying through "accident".
Thought in this guys case one could argue that he brougt this one on himself ,so you could say he commited "suicide"
This is going down in history!
Whats most impressive is how heavy the paladin need to be for this. That armor need to be pained gold or something.
Else she would have been flying along after the beast lady, like if your gripping on to a speeding car.
And though magic avoids getting your shoulder dislocated.
Weird little thing I noticed, the Paladin doesn't seem to really be enjoying the situation now that a beastman showed up
It could mainly be the berserk state of said beastwoman she isnt to happy about. Can hardly blame her for it either.
He hides behind a door. Not sportsmanlike.
The net is an undetermined mass of spontaneously generated matter(using large amounts of energy relayed in from off-site). Assuming that it is of sufficient density, and was stationary when created, Fox/Foxy/Beast Girl/Bea/... would possess insufficient momentum to move the net a relevant distance. Worth noting is that the entire environment seems to be very low-mass and high-structure...
Alternatively, magic circumstantially ignored inertia.
Or, more accurately, A wizard did it...
Tor, it looks like the last panel is a still frame when the net closes. The Paladin might still go flying afterwards.
Or the net could anchor itself to the ground.
@Sid It could just because people are trying to kill eachother and the paladin doesn't want anyone to get killed- at least not without her say-so. She's already shown her disdain for blood sports. It doesn't necessarily have to be because Fox is a beastman- although that DOES make her more dangerous.
It is worth noting that Bea can use her hair as a weapon, and her hair is fine enough to go through that net. We have only seen giant fist-hair in a clump, so maybe she can't do it with small enough locks to go through the net, but there seems to be no clear evidence that Levin won't just be perforated with hair-spikes in the next frame...
Oh! Foxy has transformed to a wolf o.o
