Right behind you, baby.
Gee, what unexpected twist. Since i doubt he has a Tunneling speed, i'd look up.
my guess: she perfectly caught saying she shot Infinite and is now going to get attacked.
First scratching the train and then just leave! That's not very polite of you, Infinite!
If he's not the intruder, I don't know who it is.
We can see the scratches a lot better now. @TheMegax was right, the train Three boards is clearly the same train.
But that one had damage on the roof and the cart Tobi and co. are currently on. Looks like Infinite-ghoul will be attacking from above.
Theory time - ghouls are former magic users who died or were killed through some means, whose bodies are now being inhabited/possessed by the spirit that was previously granting them their magic. Said possession causes the growth of a single horn, a trait perhaps shared by all spirits capable of this. All of said spirits are originally monsters/bosses from Tobi's "game-like" world, hence why the ghouls seem to think of the world as a game themselves (and are possibly trying to recreate the systems they remember humans possessing in the other world, hence the "jobs"), and why they keep calling Tobi "King/little King" (yes, it's also her last name, but none of the ones shown thus far should have known that). Their reverence specifically might be because Tobi is from a people that are explicitly experienced in beating monsters/dungeon bosses - could be that anyone from Tobi's world with experience/levels gained from dungeon crawling would be getting called "King" by them - or just because she can ACTUALLY change classes, a system they clearly idolize/are trying to recreate.
Making a lot of assumptions, but it kind of fits...
You know, Analysis...your default Blue Skill? Cmon people.
Tobi is going to analyze a ghoul~
She's the daughter of the leader of her village, who is one of the heroes & also has the last name of King. He also basically hacked the game to rescue Tobi & her team from that difficulty spike they encountered, so it's clearly because of her lineage that they respect her.
@Potatopeelerkind: I dunno, it looks to me like the train car in 2298 was torn open from the inside.
At least all the heavy hitters are on this team
Indeed, this is very much the same train. In fact, I surmise that this is a Magilante device that Smile corp really only has the one of. The groups are being let through one at a time in sequence and given two eggs to find - one of their color, and one of the next group's. Our sequence with the Housten and Glint show the train is considerably more busted-up, though, so that doesn't bode especailly-well for our Tobi.
if your theory is right, than that helps explain why attempts to make artificial magic users makes unstable dangers like moe. random monsters probably don't take kindly to being shoved into people and likely lash out in the person's mental space either killing the unlucky subject or making someone like moe who is greatly dangerous to those around them
