It makes sense for Gazz to be a little salty here I suppose. He only saw Noah be useless during the fight with the Malhart kids, and during the whole Nightmare situation Noah was unconscious during the entire time when Gazz was part of the squad. Gazz didn't see any of Noah's real progress in spirit techniques or applied skills.
Methinks Noah is going to surprise a few classmates when he busts out actual moves during future exercises.

That Gazz is a little salty is understandable. Even if, when you think a bit about it, its clear that Noah is a specialist in information skills.
It also makes sense that free magic users, being as special as they are, have a unique class.

Yeah the Noah-Gaston relationship has really strained. I understand Noah needs to keep his secrets, but that does not help him with this friendship.
It is worth to recall how Noah helped Gazz understand how "mask" works, and VS the Malhartians he analysed the enemy technique and explained it to Gazz improving his chances, as he was getting mauled. Reminds me of how a Tank or Fighter in a game complain about the frailty of a healer...
Worth looking into Gazz's mind here, likely thinking other classes reward pure effort like... a competition or something, rather than specialization and innate capabilities. Which, isn't strictly wrong, Noah is on Intel on grounds of excellence in the detection field, no power in the records. Though that choice was... extremely unorthodox; to our delight of seeing butthurt noble kids.

@Bobthemightyone To be fair, Gazz knows Noah got an essentially perfect score on the bunker test, and spotted Noah spotting him in the process. If he knows the red uniforms are an intelligence branch, this shouldn't be "too" surprising.

Yikes someone is getting more and more bitter, and no offence to you Gaz but he was always better at the sneaky shit, something you yourself have admitted more then once. Normally whilst excessively bleeding from the eyes been the ultimate try hard.
Not a good sign for the future if he ever finds out what exactly is locked away in noah's skull. I kinda get why Gazz is peeved but he needs to look at himself to realise why he's meatbag class still.
