Knowing HoH, Valiant's situation could go either way. He could still be alive and kicking in that alternate reality, or he could be long dead but we're never going to get any confirmation about it, or he could have been turned into a spirit, or something could've happened to him that we haven't even heard of yet.

Honestly my wild guess as to where did Valiant go is maybe the leader of the group of thieves Tobi followed into the temple. But that doesn't really have any basis in anything other than "It would be neat"

@noname I imagine Chekhov's Pantry is in the other reality for a reason; we're going to get some kind of confirmation eventually. Of course, given Valiant was stranded there when Held was about 9/10, and Theobold states on page 3330 that Held's story starts about 40 years ago, and was apparently never found since, that would mean about 30 years has passed since then. I imagine Valiant would have run out of food and moved on out of necessity. He's either long dead, or turned into Alan from Jumanji.
