Very subtle... Actually kinda reminds me of a documentary I saw a couple of years back about the descendants of the Iga ninja clan. Apparently, they don't think introducing oneself with the phrase "I'm a ninja" counts as blowing one's cover because, well, what are the odds that anyone would actually believe you and not just brush you off as a buffoon? And being taken for a buffoon is EXACTLY what a good spy should be aiming for.
I get the impression the teacher isn't really involved in the business.

The orange girl really only has herself (and the other Malhart sprogs I suppose) to blame for being captured. She and her foster siblings could *easily* have just hidden like they did before. But no, they had to go on a violent kidnapping spree, which lead directly to their capture. And if not for that, would they ever have been found? Well perhaps, the path not taken and all that. But point is? She's well into "how DARE you fight back when attacked!?!?!?!?" territory.
And honestly? Prophecy related impending doom notwithstanding, the Vader project is a good thing, as it has brought the purge to an end. Isn't this flat out better than the executions that were happening a few months ago? This project *needs* to succeed for the good of all the people who'd be caught and shot under other circumstances.
