My regard for Erin rose a tiny, tiny bit. It does seem like she would prefer all her students to survive. She at least put enough though into it, to guess that some morons, cough*Felix*cough, might wander into monster filled woods on their own from simple boredom.

Given that the things in Haven were literal nightmares given physical form with abilities that made your average magic user look tame, yeah, it does seem like they couldn't be worse than that. However, they didn't exactly say where they got the wildlife and the lost continent is supposed to be pretty nasty so...maybe don't count out what could be in zone 4.

Can she be proud of herself? Clearly so. Can she be proud of Noah? That's what's debatable.

Justopia dont want any of their shiny new soldier to die if it can be avoided. Erin directly state they are only meant to go to the zones when they expect they can handle it.

This could well be why some of the Havenites aren't present, they're in the 'too valuable to lose in a training accident' category. I mean, you can't easily replace a free magic user. Or a genius for that matter.

Are you being honest Noah? What about doing strenuous physical exercise on a regular basis? Because, for a while now, that has been the bare minimum you can expect to do that would improve your chances of survival.
