Mind you, the second he crossed paths with Fox he was in a bad spot. She's tried to kill him for vengence before, and only the paladin held her back. I don't know what I personally woulda done differently in Levin's shoes. Especially since there's no guarantee Smile will protect him anymore if Smile ain't responding. Fox might'a tried to kill/maim him anyway if he left her be. Leveraging his escape options like that was a smart move.
But come on man! You had to expect SOME consequences for your shitty behavior...

As hoh_burk_888 was mentioned, a re-read that part of the comic. That Ginger Beard or however we call that guy from Burk's story now reminds me of Persephone the most. Letting parts of his body separate for the punches, being indestructible (in a self-repairing way), impervious to most damage... But how did he arise from a body? Did persephone arise that way too? Or was it a kind of gruesome disguise made of flesh?

Assuming that Foxy can kill Levin and he isn't some sort of durable golemn or bionic man. Foxy's pretty strong though, so I'm guessing no matter what he is she can kill him.
