if it's about her moral code, saving him could arguably be considered evil

So is Mr. Green just cooked? I was really hoping he'd get out somehow.

@AnonymousPerson
Green theoretically has a chance if he somehow finds his card and can make it back up top. If my understanding is correct, he and Levin are the only players left, so they both can just leave together and it won't violate Green's rule.
Levin IS a cyborg, and stands a good chance of being able to beat whatever challenge Green's card is hidden behind. The issue is that neither of them have any idea where it is, and between the magic madness, black water leaks, and Infinighoul, the mines are growing more hostile by the minute.
So it's not looking great for either of them, but they DO have a shot, theoretically.

@Sloss
Saving him could arguably ALSO be considered a moral evil since it would mean that she's putting Levin's life and well-being above the lives of the people he's going to ruin and end if she leaves him alive... And, no, no-one ever owes people like Levin a final chance to redeem themselves: Levin's final chance is not the next time he has a chance to be a better person, it was the last time he had that chance, and the time before that, and the time before that... Even if he could possibly become a better person if left alive, the possibility of his betterment is not as moral or as important as the guarantee of keeping other people safe from him.

Not so- Ezra has to leave alone.

Oh... right. I misremembered.
In that case, Ezra is pretty screwed. Not only he has to somehow find his card, but he also somehow has to out-live Levin. On the other hand, Levin is also screwed, unless Ezra decides to open the door for him out of the goodness of his heart... Which could actually happen, given he refused to put Levin on trial way earlier in the game.
If Shalhia leaves now with Three and Tobi, this leaves literally nobody else alive enough to use their card, which means if Levin wants out he needs to do something right the hell now. And he DOES still have a gun, that Shalhia doesn't know about...
I don't think you have to worry about Shalia wrestling with the moral ups and downs of saving Levin. We saw her break one of the infinity gang's neck to get them out of her way. She might try and minimize that kind of stuff but has no problem doing it if deemed necessary.

At that point it's not about morals, but self-preservation. Last time Levine made an seemingly reasonable offer that seemed to benefit both sides it was a ploy to kill Jay-Jay and Shaliah. And during the game Levine was very consistent in trying to cause as many deaths as possible. Even with my knowledge as reader I wouldn't trust Levine to not backstab me.

@Melany: Tbf, if Tobi leaves the game, Infinighoul is likely to follow.
The problem is that Green needs to leave the game *last*, after everyone else, so he needs both his card and enough money to open his door.
Levin also needs to leave before Ezra does, so he needs someone to let him use their door (since his own has been used and disabled). There's only Shalia, Tobi and Three left right now.

Who knew been a backstabbing git to everyone in a death game. Which you have zero clue about the rules and such could end up biting you in the arse!
Really did want Ezra to make it too maybe he'll get lucky and escape into the back/monitor areas we know the ghoul got to them and left bits around the maze. Yes I'm grasping at straws especially with his last and alone condition but I can dream.
Also how exactly are they going to get rid of the boom booms lodged inside the grey matter it can't be exactly safe having a bomb stuck inside your skull for the rest of your life.
49131: Lurker - Monday, December 22 2025 - 4:41 PM
Levin being left behind will not end well for Green, who we can now confirm is still alive because his door shows a lock and not the X we see on the doors of dead players. Since Green can't leave until everyone else has left or died, this means Levin staying behind will prevent Green from exiting even if he gets his card and money. The only way everyone is going to figure that out though is if Tobi tells them.
