It looks like nobody in Justopea has any idea of Noah's role in this. Which is just as well, they'd probably either execute him or try to control Hallowman or other such shortsighted nonsense.

It does mean that ultimately there is a chance somebody will declare him useless and off him just because. To survive all the nightmares only to get done in by your own government... that sure would be something.

If Noah wasn't awake at all during that time, but was aware of Veda's trial, then I think it's safe to assume that Ciel has been gathering information for him. But did the range of its awareness increase? What was the exact wording of his wish? Not that it matters, really, it's always interpreted in a way that fits Ciel's abilities.

But that was a completely different guy and he died because of an external threat that was as clearly defined as it needed to be. There's no logical reason to assume anybody is dead due to unrelated things.

He did not wake up next to a dead elf. The elf he used his power on survived and escaped with two other elfs.
Noah was just turned unconscious by Veda while next to a dying elf. See page 320 and 324

I think Noah’s known combination of stealth, spirit detection and remote viewing capabilities means he’s too valuable an asset to execute, but that also means he needs to worry about multiple factions in a dystopian military dictatorship trying to use him for their own ends. And Noah does not have the social skills to navigate political intrigue.
