I think the parts on the ground belong to some of Shalia's protection stuff she cast on Maria at one point. But I am not sure.
However: What are the chances that Infinighoul positioned one (or multiple) of his copies on the exit(s)?

I think those „brain“ parts where from the Paladins egg. The one she used to protect the host Lady (Maria?) from JayJay some time ago.

Those aren't brains, those are the remains of Shalia's "egg" that she put Maria in during the platforms game. It exploded all over the place when it let her out.
