@Mallory: I'm not sure if we have been given any concrete dates in Burk's story. And while we know Burk, Noah and Tobi's stories are roughly concurrent, we also know they're not happening at the exact same time (Guy's appearances in both Noah's and Burk's stories confirm that the timelines are slightly misaligned).
In any case, we do know Held was born "40 years ago" from https://www.neorice.com/hoh_held_3330 aka in 2337. In Theo's narration, it's currently 2349, so 12 years have passed. Since I would put Evyle at around 30-35 years of age at most, she would have to be *really* young.
From https://www.neorice.com/hoh_4011 we also know that year 2377 is when prophecies "stop", which is very concerning. It appears the story takes place no later than year 2375-2376. Assuming Evyle is 35, she'd be nine at the moment of this conversation between Art and Theo.

I'm curious, Arti is an esper, for all we know. Is she a magic user as well? (Maybe I missed that.)
How was her youth? Had she had a magic power that inflicted "magic trauma" on her? Poor gal...
The madness that controlled her... Maybe she was a Panda-User and The Dreamweaver somehow made her aware of literally her daemons.
We know pandas talk to and suggest actions to they hosts, as implied by Moe the Shifter's rampage, and explicitly said by Evyle to Burk's Panda. Magic madness was it called?
For all we know Panda-Users, like Infinite, are not aware of their own Pandas existence. Which makes sense since everyone, including magic users, in Noah's story do not tie him talking to "himself" as talking to his Panda. Until Noel did, but he's an esper.
My point, if Arti is an esper, she could see her own Panda, and probably would avoid Magic Madness that way, so she wasn't an esper and The Dreamweaver "cured" her by making her one. Which implies magic trauma/torture, so this brings me to "poor gal", again, times two, since Held's coming too.
Since that's some theory crafting, now I'm extremely curious about her, and about me being completely wrong on this. Also is Held a Panda too? Will Theo want to power himself up as well? Does that apply to all Magic Users?

Oh, now I read that she was helped by The dreamweaver, and she's going there with a young esper, I forgot about that completely. So, maybe Art was troubled by the fact that she saw Pandamoniums too. Makes sense.
So yeh, maybe an Esper only thing. I assumed it was a help towards magic users in general. My bad xD
Still completely curious about this. Seems like we will get to know more about spirit and espers.
I see now the Evyle hype here, as she has greater control of spirit than, say, Noel. (And a cool spirit sword in each hand.)
