One moment.

Burk gonna BrB

49407: Joe - Thursday, January 8 2026 - 4:30 PM

Does the erased space stay there like a weird white void? Is it solid?

49409: Some guy - Friday, January 9 2026 - 1:09 AM

Burk had time to plan. Somebody is going to have an unfortunate day.

49410: Sloss - Friday, January 9 2026 - 1:51 AM

"don't worry about your husband, you have a spare"

49411: oskarloko - Friday, January 9 2026 - 2:31 AM

Alf the smiling diplomat... RIP

49412: someone - Friday, January 9 2026 - 2:45 AM

Now your husband is just half the man he used to be.

But honestly? It's the better half.

49413: BisectedBrioche - Friday, January 9 2026 - 4:35 AM

This surely won't have any complications for the Black Star heroes...

49414: UnknownID - Friday, January 9 2026 - 5:27 AM

They better had done their research on these two fellows before inviting them.

49415: Tom - Friday, January 9 2026 - 6:05 AM

She can erase reality after a long countdown. Fair enough?

I wonder how big Z fights, he clearly has subtle magic.

49416: giovanni - Friday, January 9 2026 - 6:19 AM

time for piper to shoot the full force of her fire power unto little blue

melt her face off while Big Z is busy

49417: Lurklife - Friday, January 9 2026 - 6:27 AM

Wait wait wait, you mean inviting super powered criminals with a license to kill over for dinner might have DRAWBACKS!?

In all seriousness, I wonder if vaporizing diplomats is good for national relations?

49418: noname - Friday, January 9 2026 - 6:33 AM

Oh boy, these two don't know the amount of trouble they're in: Burk is still wearing his pants!

No sympathies for Alf, of course, but I do kinda pity Arla (and, to a lesser extent, Blarl). Alf kinda dragged the rest of his family into this tragedy and now they're going to have to pick up the pieces... And not even the literal ones, seeing as they were "erased from existence."

49419: nanashi - Thursday, January 8 2026 - 10:53 PM

Erasing diplomats out of the blue can't be a good look for Heroland, even if it was done by black star heroes...

49420: Glo - Friday, January 9 2026 - 7:48 AM

Where's Piper's staff? Hopefully she didn't bring it to dinner and it hasn't just been erased.

49421: Saiko - Friday, January 9 2026 - 8:12 AM

Hm, what's the name of half-widow in English?

49422: Ghost - Friday, January 9 2026 - 8:30 AM

@Tom I suspect his current approach is going to be closer to yeee oldy ripith and tearith.

Whelp Burks off how long the trousers and bandages become casualties in the this never ending war.

Will no one think of the trousers and the toll they suffer!

49423: Melany - Friday, January 9 2026 - 8:59 AM

So since you can't see the outside, I'm taking it there is a giant pillar of oblivion sticking straight out of the castle. Now all somebody needs is to dip a sword into it.

49424: Radical Dreamer - Friday, January 9 2026 - 9:00 AM

Now I wonder if little B has to count down as part of the magic or if that was for the benefit of her partner knowing exactly when the shot was coming. Can she do a short count down. Like 2, 1, and fire a small beam that erases a pencil from existance?

@Tom

Ghouls usually have a level and class but we've never seen that with big Z's (admittedly few) appearances. From his looks though I would guess he's very much at home with the physical side of combat.

49425: Whispers of Sorrow - Friday, January 9 2026 - 9:25 AM

I'm guessing Burk's going to try and liberate Little Red Flying Hood from Little Blue Riding Hood.

49426: Some guy - Friday, January 9 2026 - 11:10 AM

@Melany
And then give it a silly-sounding name. Like, say, Oblivious.

49427: noname - Friday, January 9 2026 - 11:12 AM

@Melany
HAH! Ahh, that's a good reference. Good ol' Oblivious, nothing beats that sword -- pun intended.

49428: XiCree - Friday, January 9 2026 - 12:41 PM

Poor Alf thought he was getting away with murder when all he achieved was committing suicide...

49429: Straightbackward - Friday, January 9 2026 - 12:43 PM

Not a really good fan on Piper, but man she's getting punching-bagged on every encounter, the poor gal.

Like, tied up by Guy.
Neutralised during the Hero Drop.
On her knees right now with wire around her neck.

Kinda frustrating her attitude against Burk with all this to show.

In all fairness she beat her uncle during the Edstaddt incident, but still.

I guess that's the price of not being a magic user and needing a trinket to do your tricks :shruge:
