While it's true that Noah is a teeny, tiny, little bit more badass than before, I do believe his earlier comment about having very little desire for it still applies. I mean, consider what you put him through in order for him to become just a teensy, weensy, tiny, whiny, widdle bit more badass than before. Even you admitted to feeling a bit bad for putting the least qualified and badass of your MCs through the almost-literal hell that was the Chernyl experience. xD

Also: I see the others do have bomb collars after all. Gaz seemed to be missing his on the last page, but I guess that was just a case of the assets still loading in.

I was thinking the suits are some sort of classification by abilities too. Maybe they are ranks instead?

So, it seems everyone has gotten the "contingency".

I'm assuming that the outfits correspond, overall, to rank and role.

Plain Blue: "Spirit Infantry", they're going to get trained for combat. May have chances of promotion?

Green: Unclear. Someone proposed "heavy hitters" considering Mable and Kimberly got them, but might also be related to being (useful) Pandemonium magic users.

Red: Definitely Recon/Stealth operatives, since they've been given to Cilia and Noah.

Cyan & Cape: I suspect it's for "Leaders", which is funny considering that Jamal doesn't really feel like someone eager to lead. Alternatively, it denotes extremely powerful Pandemonium users.

I have observed that Noah is smiling more now than before. Happy to see character progress. :)

So based on what we've seen so far:

Blue and gold: Looks like these are the "Rank and file", consisting of magical potential and kids with "unimpressive" powers like Felix. (To be fair Felix has an AMAZING power, he just isn't very good at magic.)

Red, gold and black: Cillia have observation-based powers and Noah is great at spirit sight/detection. Reconnaissance maybe?

Green, black and gold: Mr. Kimberley and Mable have both proven themself in combat, so perhaps this is the "elite" battle squad/Special forces.

oh boy. They will make Noah into a leader. Im sure he will be extremely enthusiastic about that.

As a matter of fact, i've never been too fond of uniforms, unless you get some cool body armor, and even then i would paint some slick art on it.

@ Character 3: I still don't know who that is. I think it's probably Hevel, with the white mouth-stick Hevel always had, but their eye and hair colour turned from Violet/Purple on page 813 to a Pale Blue. His hair was even nearly black on page 1030.

Maybe Jamal is anti-magic?
