For as much as I feel Paladin here is a very hated character (it tried to kidnap Tobi!!! Y.Y), I am wishing for the glimpse of the future/fate of Shalia's death to be defied and avoided.
Black Star armor ghoul (zadkiel?) implied heavily that prophecies can be changed, back in the depths of the library.

...There's no egg debris in her vision of the future, I think. Her future death is likely different or averted.
(Personally, I think her past-future killer would've been Maria.)
But there's also a solid chance she's just regrettably doomed. Which is a shame, she's my least favorite of the confirmed survivors of the smile game - but also in my general top six of the players.

And that's presuming the egg leaves debris of course, if her powers stop working on death, it could just fade away or something. Someone would also have to take that mega gun she's carting around either way, mind.

Fingers crossed Shalhia makes it past this point! With the egg and 3 as backup, I doubt the prophecy will come true…however stay vigilant.
Now what? She gave her word not to capture Tobi anymore to leave the game. But Tobi clearly needs medical attention at this point.
And not to mention exposing smile foundation. Paladin gonna be busy AF for awhile!
