Waaait, that crystal mine hallucination effect...
Does it mean that Paladin will perpetually be suffering it on occasion (like a persistent infection or however it is called) or simply the madness still lingers until some time passes?
Because she's clearly hearing voices.

I could see that madness induced prophecy being self fulfilling, she attacks because she thinks *he* will, leading him to kill her, which he would not of otherwise done.

Meanwhile, Nale with a sniper rifle sits behind the entrance.

She could just take her hood off and never wear it again, since she was shot wearing it!

It has been well established that knowledge of the future can be used to prevent it. But if those predictions cannot account for being foretold, then knowledge of the future cannot be a prerequisite for a vision to come true.

So either this is magic psychosis or the gods that talked to Tobi are trying to warn the Paladin about being a loose end that is at risk of being "dealt with" or are trying to manipulate her to alienate her to the order to keep Tobi out of their hands

Well that is the example Bindy named, but I think that would just get her shot without her hood on, only technically changing the future. Restraining Klaassen and taking his gun should work, assuming there really is no sniper nearby.
