I don't know what Ms Zappy is annoyed about, that's a lot of fun to have your adventure narrated now and then, just depends on if you're being followed or listened to, or if the mood is too dour in the moment.

I don't think people "yapped" much at the time of Piper's inception, like a decade ago, but I now think Piper's dialogue should always keep up with whatever the modern youth slang is in real life at the time of writing.
As the years pass in the real world so too her dialogue will change, marking the passage of time like rings on the trunk of a tree.
