After seeing Burk plow through the Alvarian "yuck" food (as advertised). I'd be particularly amused if he dislikes Livarian food.
Anyway, won't be surprised if Pablo wants to help his county by trying to intercept BB, or maybe it is such a pressing matter that the patriarch refuses to grant permission to continue until the risk has passed. Ofc, everyone should rightfully pile on Guy, the party pooper.

Ahhh a nice meal and a drink, and by sheer chance they'll stumble right into a mess, either Guy is actually setting this all up having deduced something from facts about the blue bird we're unaware of which will lead them confidently into fun! Something I have doubts about as he is very focused on finding goldie and ginger. More likely he thinks it will be 'safe' but Murphy (also probably neo too but writers and murphy are always good drinking buddies) will rope them in somehow after what Guy said he can do no less. Queue a smash cut to Pablo screaming and a burning city with rubble flying towards him and narration going 'Yep thats me....'

Well. Its not impossible that the Patriarch starts by sending Pablo to look at the Blue Bird. If some national treasure is in danger.
