A little bonus.

Hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, buddy.

So to get this straight, each team can hand in fruit together and it will count as each member of that team handing in a piece of fruit.
However, the winners are the players who hand in the most of the 'correct' fruit.
If that's the case there's already an issue and the Paladin would know this. Whether they reveal this is going to affect their standing afterwards.

I've read a comment about how this was like an enhanced version of the prisioner's dilemma, though arguably the whole game revolves about teamwork being better than selfishness, at least on paper.

I can see Paladin already trying to seize the harvest to keep the game risk-free.

Also... is this going to be a place where players trade their special items for apples/oranges? Could be cool to see.

@Blurred
I'm not sure what you mean by that. Is it cool if you elaborate?

(Part 1)
To know who can initiate the next voting round, I did the math and surprisingly, there's only 2 possibilities:

A) Three, Smile or that Librarian-like Lady.
B) A moron.

As the last panel has shown, only the player with the highest total money can choose to initiate the next vote. Currently, the amounts of cash each player has are as follows:
1.5m: The above option A group
(Contestants from ward #3)
0.9m: Tobi/Levin
0.0m: Everyone else

*Case 1: Everybody plays nice and doesn't cheat.
+0.5m to everyone.
2.0m: Group A
1.4m: Tobi/Levin
0.5m: Everyone else

In this case, group A will have the most money and may initiate the vote. I think this has a lower chance of happening than other cases.

*Case 2: The crown represents Tobi.
Three transfered the money to Tobi.
We all know that Tobi is a lovely person and doesn't want to cheat. The problem is about whether other people will get the chance to initiate voting round.
Before diving into the math, we need to review the rules given by the hosts:
Assuming Team Apple and Orange have the same rule.
(hoh_1524) Fruits can be delivered by members of the other team.
(hoh_1525) Each orchard has 501 fruits in total.
(hoh_1526) Each fruit worths 1k per person if delivered in team, 4k if delivered personally.

21882: Hango - Wednesday, April 29 2020 - 6:24 AM

(Part 2)
Since everyone else has 0 money, it'll take 376 personally transfered fruits to reach group A's money and another one to surpass them.
(Calculated in thousands)

Total: 501=375 + 1 + 125
4.(375 + 1)=1504 > 1500

(1 fruit is enough to turn the table)
If two people in two team, Apple and Orange decided to both cheat, (most possible with Infinite) group A would never catch up. Their fruits (when delivered as a team) will increase 1k for everyone. If the someone in group A cheated as well, the equation would change to:

Total: 501=375 + 63 + 63
4.(375 + 63)=4.438= 1752 =4.63 + 1500

(So someone in group A vote and another person can initiate voting round)
The proportion of the cheated fruits is "at least":
376/501=75%
As it can be seen, cheating 75% of the fruits is very risky, only individuals with Levin douchbag level can do it. However, that person can still take 37.5% of the traded oranges to ":3" face and 37.5% of apples to the other face.

*Case 3: The crown is Levin.
The trophy represents Tobi.
Three messed up.
In this case, we'll calculate the number of fruits Levin needs to get to initiate shithead mode and vote to kill (possibly the fox girl).

Somebody in group A doesn't cheat:
Total: 501=150 + 1 + 350
4.(150 + 1) + 900=4.151 + 900=1504 > 1500

Somebody group A cheats:
Total: 501=150 + 175 + 1 + 175
4.(150 + 175 + 1) + 900=4.326 + 900=2204 > 2200=4.175 + 1500

The proportion of the cheated fruits is "at least":
151/501=30%
So Levin may get away by delivering 15% of both teams' fruits.

Because we still don't know the true value of apples and the special rules in apple team, it's hard to determine the validity of this assumption. Although Orange smiley in chapter #1523 did state that someone with appetite could buy an apple with 1k, they didn't say who "someone" was so they could potentially be the players. Also, there's still a team with neutral vote.
Therefore, take this with a grain of salt.

21883: Hango - Wednesday, April 29 2020 - 6:35 AM

(Part 3)
In conclusion, Levin should have died. Without that shithead, my assumption would be less complicated.
If i'm wrong, please correct me.

Check page 1405.

When was the last time the contestants were fed?
There might be another far more simple problem with this fruit exchange. They might also be the teams rations.

21887: Nitrotetrazole - Wednesday, April 29 2020 - 4:09 PM

At this point im getting a bit tired of Tobi's arc :( The games and their rules are becoming too much for me

@Yobestboi
Given what we know about the Soul mate system with the Paladin and Jay-Jay (i.e. both are the Blue Player) then we have a dilemma with what constitutes a player in terms of fruit hand in.
There are only two teams as stated in page 1522. If we assume the 'neutral' players are allowed to participate and are on the opposing team, then the Blue Player has the potential to win through being able to hand in more fruit than any other player ever could due to being on both teams simultaneously. In this scenario if no one cheats then the Blue player hands in 1002 pieces of fruit, thus winning. Even with cheating any other player would be hard pressed to overcome a potential fruit hand in higher than what they are allowed.
Otherwise if the 'neutral' players have any influence on this game alternatively then we have a bias towards the Paladin as far as things go, they won't let their team-mate (and thus themselves) risk the vote if they can help it.
See page 1436 for the basis of this logic.
Only the Paladin and Jay-Jay are privy to this information for now.
A lot of this is based on what has been given so far and is likely to be proven immediately wrong when we find out where the neutral players are at.

does anyone except Three, who is difficult to understand, know about the Vow Of Money Transference from http://neorice.com/hoh_1164 ?
this seems to be a method to ease the difficulty of dealing with money, as it presumably does not influence the winners of Round 2, and thus the increased amount from all the team getting credit can be used to give the traders a cut conditionally, only taking effect if they sell it for the team, and if the ones giving the cut do not die.
alternatively, the traders could vow to give someone else all of the money if they sell it personally, reducing the available tempation.

@charter
they were last fed
http://neorice.com/hoh_1175
, which is fairly recent.

21891: Leo - Wednesday, April 29 2020 - 10:00 PM

@Charter: Hahah, they were given tables full of sandwiches and meats.

21892: The_Squished_Elf - Thursday, April 30 2020 - 1:50 AM

I'm confused.

It's stated here and previously that each orange is worth 1k. Then this smiley says that cheaters will get 4k per orange, which is supposedly less than the 6k per orange they would get... but they'd get 1k per orange... so what's the actual cash penalty for cheating? Or is it a x4 bonus for cheating?

Also @Charter - that is devious.

@The_Squished_Elf The fruit is 1k each, but for each team member who is considered in turning it in. So if all 6 are playing fair and play together and turn them in together, each participant would get 1k, making the fruit 6k worth in total (but distributed over 6 persons). The Betrayer would get 4k for his own, making it more profitable to him (4k vs 1k), but the money in the game is less (4k vs 6k).

Since there are rules in place that you could get the money of other participants and this is still only the beginning of the games, even for greedy character it would probably be wiser to cooperate and get that sweet extra money later.

... which is to say, Levin will definitely betray his team members because he is just a narcistic idiot.
