I like this guy. He tries to make them pay attention to their behavior (and possible consecuences and impacts) from the very start. It should be important to anyone (IRL too), but moreso if you specialize in subterfuge.
Hopefully the kids realize this too and take this (probably great) opportunity to get good at what they do / what he can teach them.

Now, Widows has the power misdirection down pat... but what does the ginger girl know? She wasn't present when Noel told Dzjameel Mastot (and by extention, Jamal Leery) that Windows had a hidden power (https://www.neorice.com/hoh/noah/1414). Nor was she present for any of the stoff involving Ciel during Chernyl's nightmare. But she did briefly escape after her initial capture and Noel might have said something then (Ciel, that is to say, the presence of someone named Ciel in Window's presence may be public knowledge, a *lot* of people know).
@random: Yeh, he's a good teacher as judged by first impression.

Kid's gathering information already! Good job.

I like this teacher too. These students might genuinely increase their survival odds if they take his lessons to heart.

At this point, I think Neorice is doing the baret thing just to annoy me.

Yeah, this guy is cool. I suppose we'll know in time if he's a bad guy or not, but he doesn't feel like one.

Was your action good? Bad? Is it going to result in problems for you? How about you think for yourselves and decide?
Perfect mindset for developing a spy. Rules are made up but you still have to think things through. And I think Noah is finally in the right mindset not to just take that as an excuse to not pay attention and slack off...

At least when I plug it into google translate, beret comes out as baret in a few languages like Dutch. Might just be that.

@someone maybe it is actually intentional: from Royal Museums Greenwich: "Discover the remarkable story of Jeanne Baret - a tale of disguise, deception, daring and danger at sea."
That sounds like a person you'd name spies trained on a boat after

Oh boi, the 5D chess begins.

@ someone: It's incredibly unlikely that the "Baret" thing is being done to annoy you. Patreon is, according to the banner above the comic, 600 pages ahead of us. So he likely hasn't corrected the next couple dozen to hundred pages with a singular error.
@ Comic: Noah has no reason to keep his a secret, because his is basically already known and is simplified into "I'm instinctively good at a skill everyone here could theoretically learn".

When we discover that as a teacher, Neorice dream was to teach espionnage and subterfuge !

I honestly think Noah and Arsene are going to get along swimmingly. The weird loner loser and the class ass tend to get along great if neither is unnecessarily cruel.
It'll probably be good for the both of them to be friends, like Noah and Felix were. Noah needs to get a bit more used to actively pissing people off and it looks like Arsene could use the help of someone good at avoiding attention.
