This is what I was afraid of.
I think people are going to interpret this as "in trying to avoid her future, Shalhia made it come to pass". This isn't that. He's not going to have her killed because she tried to disarm him. He's having her killed because she defied him. He was always going to to kill her, with what she knew and the decisions she would make.
