@Straightbackward The Barnrose staff don't necessarily know what happened based on this wording. Noel says "the last time I heard from her", meaning it could have been a private conversation. They would either have to have been eavesdropping said conversation, or they heard it at some point directly from Chernyl/etc.

Noah should probably ask for clarification.

Its blindingly obvious that Noel does in fact know whats going on. And are now subtly informing Noah.

Subtly as its likely the entire ship is under surveillance. And Noel, not holding any loyalty to the empire, wants Noah to keep his low profile.
